Russel has held multiple roles in marketing, sales and operations with leaders in the telecom and renewable energy industries, and has helped develop startups with social purpose. Most recently, he served as Head of Retail Energy for Gridwealth/Hampshire Power, following the launch of Barefoot Citizens, a for-profit social enterprise committed to innovating, commercializing and scaling sustainable businesses, and SolarBuddy, a nonprofit seeking to alleviate energy poverty for children. Earlier in his career, he served in VP of Sales roles with Green Mountain Energy and Intervoice-Brite. He is a graduate of Creighton University and resides in Plano.
