Throughout his career, he was the primary delivery lead or made significant contributions in developing and executing strategies for Fortune 500 companies such as Comcast, Wal-Mart, Kmart, Amazon, Target, Proctor & Gamble, Macy’s, Coke, the NBA, Hertz, AT&T, NET Brazil, Blue Cross Blue Shield, NYSE, Dow Jones, Bharti, Globe, Telstra, China Unicom, SingTel, APT Taiwan, and Amtrak.
Dr. Smith completed his Doctor of Engineering degree from Southern Methodist University, with a concentration in Software Engineering. His dissertation focused identifying the optimal software delivery methodology (i.e. Waterfall, Agile, V-Model, Spiral, and Iterative) base on customers’ business requirements and customer transformation.
In addition, he holds a BS in Computer Science / Mathematics from Xavier University, a MIS from George Washington University, and a MBA from Christian Brothers University. He is currently teaching in the Lyle School of Engineering at SMU.
